Non-Humaniods
[NOTE: If you are new to Wicca, this probably isn't the best place to start. This might be more interesting to you.]
Not exactly what he looks like, but still captures him pretty decently. |
Essentially, he's my conscious projected outside of myself.
He usually takes the form of a wolf, but he has been a German shepherd, English shepherd, mountain lion, marmot, frog, hawk, and sometimes a human.
His imaginary fur is very snuggly and he comforts, advises, and protects me.
Sometimes I talk with him about his life on the astral plane. He says that he isn't really an animal, that's just how he appears to me.
He's also told me that he has other-worldly qualities (like not being solid) because he's based in the astral plane and projected onto this one through my mind. He says that, on the astral plane, my body would also behave differently because it isn't compatible with some of the laws of physics over there.
Raylinth
Raylinth started off as my Watcher. He's very tall- about 7 feet. He wears white street-clothes, a big brown trenchcoat, a fedora, and black sunglasses. He has long blonde hair and bird wings that are either black or white, depending upon his mood.
He usually travels alone to distant places and comes back to tell me about them. He also accompanies me when I walk home from work, making sure that I'm safe.
My Sycamore Scorpio Wand
My sycamore wand was an interesting find. I had begun to flirt with the idea of taking up Wicca (by which I mean I had read about it and was starting to think that I rather liked it) and decided that I'd need a friend and protector throughout my adventures. So I reached out and sent a call to the universe so to speak. I knew that something (or someone) and I would find each other soon. I was right. Just a few weeks later, I picked up a stick off the ground. I automatically tested it's length and strength and found it to be perfect. I smiled at it and felt it smile back, and I knew I had found what I was looking for.
I brought her home, stripped off her bark (revealing a very interesting pattern) and held a small ritual I found here: http://www.magicwandsofwizardry.com/magic-wands_029.htm (this site's a bit flashy, but it's wand instructions and spells are good.) I missed the last Scorpio Moon (I still have to give her some moonlight), but it'll be back around soon. Hopefully she'll also get a good name then too.
She tends to have a very frank sense of humor and is level-minded. She reminds me to be a responsible person and is quite happy to help with protection and relief from physical pain. Despite being a bit nippy, she is a very loving and genuine person. She also tends to get a bit shy and quiet around too much attention.

Oswald
My broomstick, created on Ostara with my sister. I haven't used him all that much, but he tends to be sarcastic. He's really a sweet guy though.
